A slave named Stephen Harris

	On Monday 26th March 2001, in a private "ceremony", I knelt in front of Mistress and we exchanged pledges, making me her slave. I'm afraid I became a little emotional when I made my pledge, and ended up saying the last bit through tears. I'm not sure how this has happened, but in a short space of time I have gone from being a neophyte in the scene to a slave. I can tell you that I'm happy to be here though!
	For the ceremony I prepared a presentation folder which contained a copy of our pledges, a certificate of ownership and copies of my writings.

	The BDSM Emblem at the top of the page is copyright 1995 by Quagmyr@aol.com who maintains the copyright in order to protect the symbol. It is freely available for all educational and non-commercial use within the BDSM community without charge. His site contains lots of information about the emblem, and the many layered meanings of it. For some reason it seems to be used more in the UK than the US, and I like it a lot. If I can find a physical one I like, then I may get one. Except for the one on this page, the emblem on all further pages will take you back to this page.
	Elle Finn, of SubVerse wrote a poem about coming out. I was needing to work out a way of telling my parents about this, and so read it... howvever, it didn't quite do what I wanted, so I tried to write my own... and from there came a collection of poems, all dedicated to Mistress. Some appear on SubVerse as well. (updated Jan 20nd 2004 new poem Flame)
	A random collection of short stories... more fantasies and vignettes than anything else! (updated 2007/09/07 "Immobile")
	As well as poems and stories I've also written some longer articles, either for web sites or newsgroup postings... or just for here. So, essays, scene reports... whatever... (updated Apr 13 2005, a return to Paddles)
	Just some random thoughts on slavery which I've had, and what being a slave means to me. Remember, every person is different, so you may not agree with this. This is how I feel, and no one else. (updated 2004/03/07 with a thought on other people jumping from collaring to collaring)
	Unfortunately my darling Mistress, Tori, doesn't have a web page at the moment. Here's a photo of her though, sitting at a tube station. The chain collar around her neck is a gift I gave her when I first met her. In her own words:       "The silver chain I wear as a symbol of my responsibility. (Not unlike a knight's chain.)" I love that wonderful beautiful lady so much! (picture changed 2003/08/31)
	I used to spend far too much time on IRC, generally #submissionUK on DALnet where I go by the nickname of {sweh}S. The S, naturally, refers to my Mistress Tori, who uses the nick Serinde{s}. giggle I had Channel Ops there, so here's one area where I can overrule Mistress... not that I ever would, of course! Since I moved to NY I don't spend anywhere near as much time on IRC, and so don't have ops any more.
	Just a few web sites I regularly visit or think are especially worth while. Well... every other web site seems to have an explicit links section, so this is my chance to promote other sites I like! (new, 2002/01/26)
	I do have a life outside of BDSM. Not much of a life; I'm a computer geek with far too many books, videos and CDs... and a pretty poor homepage. But, for what it's worth, here it is :-)
