FREEDOM

BDSM is full of paradoxes. Consensual slavery, limits, pleasure in pain.... after Mistress and I exchanged oaths I felt an intense sense of freedom... but I had trouble writing this poem... it just wouldn't work! Eventually, after 2 weeks of not thinking about it, it came to me... 

Freedom

     In slavery comes freedom,
     The freedom to exist,
     The freedom to obey,
     The freedom to serve.

     In bondage comes freedom,
     The freedom to struggle,
     The freedom to enjoy,
     The freedom to submit.

     In submission comes freedom,
     The freedom to experience,
     The freedom to desire,
     The freedom to love.

     In pain comes freedom,
     The freedom to feel,
     The freedom to please,
     The freedom to enjoy.

     Mistress, as your possession
     You have given me
     The freedom to be
     What I can be.
