Slow Cooked Top Sirloin

Contributed by Mystwlker (AKA Gary)

Suggested meal:

Directions:

The steaks are placed in a baking pan and seasoned to taste, using fresh ground pepper, some ginger, and a pinch of cayenne, for example. Top with sweet onion slices separated into rings, strips of green pepper, roasted garlic, and sliced mushrooms.

Place the extra mushrooms to fill the rest of the pan, where they will cook in the steak's juices (juices tending to make *everything better ) If the cut of meat is not of high quality, it can flogged till tender before preparing. Cover the pan with foil, sealing the edges tight so that the heat and steam are trapped inside.

Cook in the oven at 325 till done to suit (how long depends on the thickness of the cut)

When all is in readiness, splay the steak out across the plate without disturbing the onions, mushrooms and peppers. Bracelet the steak with the shrimp tightly, tails out, then add on the side dishes, and an oven warmed roll on the potatoes and rice.

And don't forget the dessert,, perhaps something warm and gooey and decadent (maybe one's partner...? (Q¿-) )
