Honeycomb

Line 9x9x2" pan with heavy-duty foil, extending foil over sides and generously butter the foil.

Combine first three ingredients in large, heavy saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Continue cooking without stirring until candy thermometer registers 300F, swirling pan occasionally, about 18 minutes.

Remove from heat and immediately add baking soda. Stir until well combined - mixture will foam vigorously.

Pour immediately into prepared pan and cool completely.

Using foil, lift candy from pan. Cut or break the candy into pieces of desired size. Store at room temperature in airtight container.

May be dipped in melted chocolate, as desired.
