A sweet bread, great with cream cheese or (of course) honey butter
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F
Heat milk and honey together over low heat in saucepan, stirring constantly until honey is dissolved. Add and stir in butter. When butter is melted, remove from heat.
Let cool for several minutes.
Pour into mixing bowl. Beat in the eggs.
In second mixing bowl, stir together white flour, baking powder, toasted wheat germ, whole wheat flour and salt
Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the liquid mixture, stirring constantly. Add nuts, mix them into batter.
Pour into buttered loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour.
