Easy Chicken Caesar with Texas Toast

A quick and easy dinner salad with garlic bread.
Serves: 2 - 4 depending on how hungry you are.
Preparation time: 5-10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 bag Dole Special Blends lettuce - Italian
- 1 box "Et Tu Caesar salad fixins"
- 2 packages Perdue Short Cuts cooked chicken - Italian
- 1 package Texas Toast Garlic Bread
- Additional Caesar salad dressing to taste (I pick up an individual packet or two at the salad bar)
Directions:
Note: Since I don't want to use one of my large pans to toss the salad (a pain to wash afterwards), I buy one of those disposable aluminum lasagna pans.
- 1. Follow direction for making the Texas Toast (5-7 minutes in the
oven)
- 2. While that is cooking, combine the lettuce, salad fixins and
chicken in a large pan and toss well. Add more caesar dressing to
taste, usually no more than a packet or two, one is enough for us).
- 3. Serve and enjoy.
