Artichoke Appetizer

I whipped this up one night when we had both had a terrible day - it's quick, it's easy, it's hot, it's smooth and it's decadent comfort food:

Ingredients

• 2 cans artichoke hearts, drained and finely shredded
• 2 cups freshly grated parmesean cheese
• 2 cups mayonnaise
• a dash of garlic powder

Directions

Mix ingredients and sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Serve with toast points, pita quarters or crackers

Variations:

• switch fresh Romano for Parmesan
• use homemade or low-fat mayonnaise
• switch curry powder or cumin for garlic powder
